Yoga allows you to find a new kind of freedom that you may not have known even existed.

- B.K.S. Iyengar

EnergiZen trauma sensitive and chronic pain yoga therapy classes help anyone suffering from trauma such as military personnel and their families, first responders, and others who suffer from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

This yoga class is about learning to be present in a safe space and discovering the magic of reconnecting body, mind and breath. Each posture and physical movement can be adapted to physical limitations and disabilities. Students are encouraged to just start where they are and do what they can.

Testimonials from veterans

"The environment is calm and inviting, and there is never any pressure to compare my own advancement to that of anyone else’s. The benefits I experienced through my yoga sessions range from improving my physical state, to helping to ease anxieties.  My sleep has improved since beginning these sessions, which in turn has helped me feel more motivated throughout the day.  My overall concentration has improved and I feel significantly more relaxed on a regular basis. These yoga sessions have decreased the pain I endure daily down to a tolerable degree."
